Freudenberg Chemical Specialities Vietnam Co. Ltd

The HR Generalist is responsible for delivering a broad range of Human Resources services

across the employee journey for FCS Southeast Asia. The role serves as a key HR contact for

employees, managers, and regional stakeholders, ensuring effective HR operations, compliance

with local labor regulations, and alignment with company policies and regional HR strategies.

Working independently within established HR frameworks, the incumbent supports HR

operations, talent acquisition, employee relations, payroll coordination, compensation and

benefits administration, talent management, and HR projects across multiple countries. The role

also ensures data accuracy within Workday, supports process standardization, and contributes

to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and employee

experience across the region.

HR Generalist FCS SEA

Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day HR operations and core people processes across the employee
  • lifecycle (onboarding to offboarding).
  • Act as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and
  • procedures and ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience.
  • Support employee relations and occupational health and safety activities in line with policies and local regulations (e.g. local medical / health insurance review )
  • Support an inclusive work environment by applying HR policies consistently and fairly.
  • Maintain employee master data, HR documentation, and personnel files across HR
  • systems, ensuring data quality, accuracy, and compliance readiness (legal and internal requirements).
  • Utilize HR information systems ( e.g. Workdays , e-leave system ) to manage employee data, create reports and support internal / external audits.
  • Prepare and process HR-related documents such as employment contracts, certificates, references.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist or specialist capacity.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, HR operations, and labor law compliance.
  • Exposure to regional HR practices and experience supporting regional HR initiatives would be an advantage.
  • Experience working within a multinational, matrix, or international business environment is preferred.
  • Professional proficiency in Vietnamese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR Information Systems (HRIS), preferably Workday.
  • Sound knowledge of Vietnamese Labor Law, statutory requirements, and HR best practices.
