Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design and execute a comprehensive Marketing, Communications, and Branding strategy that supports the organizations mission and long-term strategic objectives.
  • Strengthen global brand visibility and reputation among key stakeholders, including prospective students, faculty, alumni, media, academic institutions, and corporate partners.
  • Partner with academic units and leadership to develop targeted marketing initiatives that enhance student recruitment, faculty engagement, program awareness, and institutional prestige.
  • Drive media relations and thought leadership efforts to showcase faculty research, academic excellence, student achievements, and major institutional developments on a global scale.
  • Lead the organizations digital strategyoverseeing content creation, social media engagement, SEO/SEM, and website performanceto expand reach and engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketing efforts; assess results regularly and adjust strategies to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
  • Supervise creative production, including branding assets, digital content, multimedia materials (such as video, photography, and graphic design), and toolkits.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide brand positioning, academic program development, and enrollment strategies.
  • Facilitate clear and consistent internal communications to ensure alignment across departments on branding and marketing goals.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and media partners to ensure high-quality execution of marketing and communication initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience

  • Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Academic background or professional experience in an English-speaking or international context is highly desirable.
  • At least 7 years of progressive experience in senior marketing or communications roles, ideally within higher education, international organizations, or global corporations.
  • Proven success in developing and executing global branding strategies, academic marketing initiatives, and digital communications campaigns.
  • Experience in securing media coverage and pitching stories to both international and local media outlets is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in content marketing, digital advertising, social media strategy, and analytics tools.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of the mission, values, and operational context of private, research-driven universities.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal; Vietnamese language proficiency is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams and fostering collaboration across academic, administrative, and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach; able to prioritize effectively between long-term goals and immediate needs.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced, and evolving environments; resilient, flexible, and solutions-oriented.
  • Deep passion for higher education, innovation, and contributing to transformative impact both in Vietnam and globally.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Established or potential to build strong professional networks across local and international spheres.
