The New Seller Flow team focuses on optimizing the onboarding experience for new sellers, ensuring a seamless and efficient journey from registration to their first sale. By leveraging data-driven insights and automation, the team enhances seller acquisition, activation, and retention, helping them succeed in Shopee's dynamic e-commerce ecosystem.
Job Description
- Review and identify opportunities to enhance end-to-end performance of new sellers coming onboard the platform.
- Lead a large team to implement strategy and execution on seller incubation.
- Drive performance of all Incubation Key Account Managements within responsibility on dimensions including commercial performance, seller relationship, social media engagement, internal tools and systems, and special projects.
- Work closely with other key stakeholders across teams and departments to co-develop and launch strategic initiatives that help improve processes and sellers performance.
- Extract key insights on performance of sellers and initiatives for management reporting.
- Lead the team to review existing practices to make solid improvement recommendations and spearhead optimization projects based on data-backed analysis, critical thinking, and commercial judgment.
- Stay ahead of the curve on developments and trends within the e-commerce industry, especially with regard to business development and seller management.
- Support team lead in developing seller management strategy and initiatives.
- Create a healthy work environment within the team and grow more future leaders.
- Ensure correct and timely completion of team members performance reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business or related fields.
- Ideally 3–5 years of working experience, preferably in business development, sales, or account management.
- Ability to interact with a broad set of businesses and stakeholders.
- Good command of English.
- People management skills and experience managing a team.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and willingness to interact and share ideas while working with individuals from other departments.
- Data-driven mindset, logical thinking, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Result-oriented, self-driven, and strong negotiation skills.
