MSE Group is recruiting a Chief Accountant for our parent company, an established investment company with multiple business units across private equity, financial services, fintech, F&B, retail and strategic investments. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing accounting, tax, treasury and governance across a growing multi-entity structure, working closely with senior management on investments and new business initiatives.

KEY RESPONSBILITIES

• Oversee accounting operations, invoicing, reconciliations and period-end closing across the company and its business units.
• Review and control domestic and international payments within delegated authority.
• Review statutory, tax, management and financial reports for accuracy, timeliness and compliance.
• Oversee tax planning, filings and statutory obligations across jurisdictions; coordinate with tax authorities, regulators and auditors.
• Monitor costs, funding, liquidity and cash flow across business units, including overseas entities; manage banking relationships.
• Advise management on the accounting and tax implications of investments, restructuring, divestments and new ventures.
• Set up accounting, payment and financial processes for newly established entities.
• Lead and develop the accounting team, and drive special finance projects assigned by the CEO.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Auditing or Finance.
• Chief Accountant Certificate (per Vietnamese regulations) – required.
• Minimum 5 years at a Big 4 firm (audit or tax); Senior/Manager level preferred.
• ACCA or CPA qualification is a strong advantage.
• In-house experience at an FDI enterprise or multi-entity company (accounting operations, consolidation or tax compliance) is a plus.
• Exposure to cross-border transactions, overseas entities or M&A/restructuring is highly valued.
