Head of Enterprise Applications

We are supporting a leading international travel and destination management business in the search for a Head of Enterprise Applications to lead its technology transformation and build a modern, self-sufficient engineering organisation across Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, lead, coach and develop a multidisciplinary engineering organisation across Engineering, Product, Data, DevOps and Quality.
• Drive engineering culture, capability development, performance and succession planning.
• Own Product Owners, product roadmaps, prioritisation, discovery, backlogs and product lifecycle management.
• Lead platform engineering, including developer platforms, CI/CD, internal tooling, infrastructure, self-service capabilities and release automation.
• Drive modern DevOps practices, including deployment automation, environment strategy, GitOps, feature flags, rollback, blue-green and canary releases.
• Establish strong quality engineering practices across test automation, regression, performance, security and continuous testing.
• Implement observability and operational excellence across monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, incident response and platform availability.
• Drive AI engineering initiatives, including AI coding assistants, internal copilots, LLM integrations, prompt libraries and agent deployment.
• Lead ERP and enterprise application integrations, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, APIs and middleware.
• Oversee data migration, cleansing, reconciliation, data quality and source-of-truth operations.
• Reduce technical debt through refactoring, upgrades, legacy-system retirement and architecture improvements.
• Contribute to technology strategy, architecture evolution and engineering roadmaps.
• Establish engineering governance, secure SDLC practices, architecture standards and engineering KPIs.
• Manage external technology vendors and delivery partners, ensuring delivery quality, SLAs, knowledge transfer and long-term internal capability.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience leading engineering transformation and building high-performing engineering organisations.
• Strong experience leading large and/or distributed engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of modern SDLC, CI/CD, DevOps and cloud-native engineering.
• Hands-on understanding of platform engineering and developer experience.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, APIs, middleware, observability and operational excellence.
• Experience with ERP integrations, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
• Experience with data migration, data cleansing and source-of-truth design.
• Experience with quality engineering, automated testing and continuous testing.
• Exposure to AI engineering, LLM integrations, copilots or AI agents.
• Strong experience managing external vendors, technology partners and delivery providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate business requirements into technology priorities.
• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience within travel, tourism, DMC or hospitality.
• Experience with multi-country technology rollouts and complex cutovers.
• Previous experience establishing platform-engineering or AI-engineering practices.
• Vietnamese language capability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related discipline.
