In this position, you will:
- Participate in the early stage of setting up new factory, building department and driving success.
- Responsible for products, process and equipment performance.
- Lead the design and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Manage engineering projects implementation, resolve technical issues ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee engineering projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, R&D to improve products and processes.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Support new product introductions and technology transfers to manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Track engineering KPIs and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement using LEAN, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
- Supervise and ensure effective employee relations:
- Hire and train skilled operators, technicians, workers, and other support personnel.
- Provide employee coaching and development opportunities.
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Other duties will be assigned by the line manager.
What we expect from you:
- At least 05 years&apos experience in a leadership role within engineering in electronics manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and engineering standards ( in SMT, THT, and/or mechanical assembly processes, testing)
- Solid knowledge of SPC, MSA, process capability analysis (Cp, Cpk)
- Hands-on experience with Lean tools (e.g., 5S, Poka-Yoke, standard work) and/or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills based on data.
- Ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a high-mix, low-volume production environment.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
- Skills in Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools or MES systems.
- Experience working with regulated industry standards such as automotive (IATF 16949), medical (ISO 13485), or military (e.g., AS9100) is considered an asset.
- Effective leadership and communication skills able to influence and align cross-functional teams.
- Language proficiency: Vietnamese required, good command of English (written and spoken).
