About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer to join our engineering team and build scalable, high-performance backend systems for iGaming, Payment platforms.

You will work on complex, transaction-heavy systems where speed, reliability, security, and data consistency are critical.

From real-time betting transactions and wallet management to payment processing and distributed services, you'll have the opportunity to solve challenging engineering problems and contribute to products serving international markets.

We are looking for engineers who don't just write code but understand how systems work, anticipate potential failures, and take ownership of delivering reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js, Java, or Golang.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices to support high-concurrency applications.
• Develop backend functionalities for iGaming, Payment, Wallet, and Transaction Management systems.
• Design reliable transaction processing mechanisms with a focus on data consistency, idempotency, and fault tolerance.
• Optimize backend performance, response time, and system scalability.
• Design, maintain, and optimize databases using MongoDB, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Implement caching strategies to improve application performance and reduce database load.
• Develop asynchronous processing and event-driven workflows using RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Ensure reliable message delivery, error handling, and data consistency across distributed services.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Monitor application health, investigate production issues, and optimize system performance.
• Utilize APM tools, Kibana, and Grafana for application monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Frontend Developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in system design discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Take ownership of assigned features from development through deployment and production support.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one of the following programming languages: Node.js/ Java / Golang.
• Strong understanding of backend architecture, API design, and microservices.
• Experience building scalable applications with high availability and high concurrency.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, and/or Elasticsearch.
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
• Understanding of database optimization, caching mechanisms, and asynchronous processing.
• Knowledge of data consistency and transaction handling in distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with APM, Kibana, Grafana, or similar monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to independently investigate technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• Proactive attitude and strong ownership of assigned tasks.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.
