Role Description
The General Accounting staff main responsibilities include managing overall accounting activities, liaising with the China headquarters, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while enjoying a competitive salary, attractive benefits, and career growth opportunities.
Job Description:
- Manage the full scope of accounting department activities, including monitoring, consolidating, and controlling all financial and accounting operations of the company.
- Oversee general accounting tasks to ensure smooth operations in compliance with internal processes and legal regulations.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Vietnam accounting team and Headquarters in China, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange.
- Collaborate with related departments to handle accounting transactions, control documentation and data, and clarify accounting issues with Headquarters when required.
- Report directly to Headquarters in China on financial and accounting matters, providing explanations and support as requested.
- Coordinate with internal teams on financial operations and propose solutions to address any discrepancies in accounting or financial processes.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Board of Management.
Qualifications
- At least 23 years of experience in tax accounting/general accounting staff.
- Proficiency in Chinese (HSK4 or above), with the ability to work independently with Chinese management team.
- Strong accounting and financial reporting skills; candidates with experience in financial statements, tax reports, tax finalization, and tax refund procedures are preferred.
- Proficiency in Misa and Odoo is an advantage.
- Good understanding of Vietnams accounting, tax, and economic laws and related regulations.
