Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a General Accountant located in 86, Street No. 3, Chu Van An Residential Area, Binh Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role oversees the company's accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency in all financial activities. Responsibilities include reviewing tax reports, financial statements, and contracts; managing payments and cash flow; preparing reports; and liaising with tax authorities. The role also supervises accounting staff and proposes policies to optimize processes and control costs.

Job Description

  • Guide, review, and ensure the accuracy of accounting transactions.
  • Check and reconcile tax reports and financial statements on a regular basis.
  • Review the validity, payment terms, and tax terms of purchase and sales contracts.
  • Receive payment requests from departments, check cash flow balance, and process payments.
  • Prepare loan application documents and work with banks/financial institutions when required.
  • Consolidate data and prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
  • Coordinate and communicate directly with other departments on accounting and financial matters.
  • Work with tax authorities: provide documents, explain data, and support during inspections or audits.
  • Propose and establish policies and procedures to improve the accounting system.
  • Assign and manage tasks for accounting staff effectively.
  • Propose methods and initiatives to control costs across departments.
