Role Description

The General Accountant at the corporate office will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. This full-time, on-site role in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam involves handling accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations. The General Accountant will support internal and external audits, ensure compliance with local accounting standards and company policies, and help optimize financial performance through accurate data and analysis. The role also includes collaborating with operations and asset management teams, preparing timely financial summaries for stakeholders, and contributing to process improvements in financial controls and reporting.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and local tax regulations.
Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; familiarity with ERP or hospitality-focused financial systems is an advantage.
Ability to analyse financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide clear, timely reports to management.
Attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams in operations and asset management.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting certification is a plus.
Experience in hospitality, property management, or a similar service-oriented industry is preferred.
Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and commitment to compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
