General Accountant

Avelia Systems (formerly known as Bexcore VN) the exclusive distributor in Vietnam of the Bexcore® VABB (Vacuum Assisted Breast Biopsy) machine manufactured by Medical Park in South Korea. This non-surgical technology, used with ultrasound, enables oncology and breast specialists to remove breast tumors and large calcifications with high precision and minimal physical impact. Partnered with leading hospitals across Vietnam, including major institutions in Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City.

Role Description: The General Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh, Thảo Điền, District 2.

This role is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledgers, and preparing routine financial reports. The General Accountant will handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, support monthly and annual closing activities, and ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance. The role involves monitoring cash flow, assisting with tax filings and regulatory reporting, and collaborating with internal teams to provide timely financial insights. The General Accountant is expected to maintain strong internal controls and uphold company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational accounting skills, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
• Proficiency with accounting software and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, MISA), with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Knowledge of local tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and basic audit requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a general accounting role, preferably within healthcare, medical devices, or a related industry, is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Thảo Điền and maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
