We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our System Engineer Agent initiative. The mission of this system is to mimic how real system engineers work together—analyzing requirements, negotiating trade-offs, and resolving conflicts among stakeholders in complex projects.
As part of the team, you will design and implement multi-agent AI system that replicate these collaborative processes. Your work will focus on enabling AI agents to reason, communicate, and make informed decisions across diverse engineering scenarios.
This is a unique opportunity to push the boundaries of AI by bringing human-like collaboration and conflict resolution into engineering workflows.

Responsibilities
- Build and Design UI for AI-powered web app, in this case internal tools for system engineering. For example, build React-based dashboards to visualize agent reasoning, conflicts, and decisions (a strong plus).
- Multi-Agent System Design
- Build AI agents that mimic the roles and interactions of system engineers.
- Develop communication and reasoning strategies to resolve conflicts between requirements and stakeholder needs.
- Ensure agents can coordinate to reach decisions that balance trade-offs.
- RAG System Integration
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines that allow agents to access engineering documents, requirements, and knowledge bases.
- Optimize retrieval and reasoning to support accurate, context-aware decision-making.
- AI Engineering & Tooling
- Prototype and fine-tune models for reasoning and structured outputs.
- Work with frameworks like **Ollama, LangChain**, or similar tools for local and distributed AI agent deployment.
- Integrate agent reasoning with external tools and project data sources.
- Collaboration & Deployment
- Work closely with domain experts to capture real-world system engineering processes and translate them into agent workflows.
- Deploy and monitor agent systems in engineering environments to support live projects.

Requirements

Core Skills
- Have at least 3 years of experience at similar roles. - Proven experience with multi-agent system design and agent-to-agent communication.
- Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and knowledge retrieval systems.
- Familiarity with local LLM inference engine like Ollama, vLLM
- Strong background in Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, Hugging Face, LangChain, etc.).
- Frontend development experience with React.
- Exposure to system engineering principles (e.g., requirements management, trade-off analysis).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud deployment.
