Job Summary
The Financial Assistant to the DCEO provides high-level financial, analytical, and administrative support to the Deputy CEO. This role is responsible for assisting in financial planning, reporting, data analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling confidential financial information.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Support & Analysis
- Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the DCEO
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
- Monitor key financial metrics and highlight variances or risks
- Support the evaluation of investment opportunities and business cases
2. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports
- Develop presentations and dashboards for executive meetings
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial documentation
- Maintain organized financial records and files
3. Strategic & Executive Support
- Support the DCEO in strategic planning and financial initiatives
- Conduct market research and benchmarking analysis
- Assist in preparing materials for board meetings and stakeholder presentations
- Follow up on action items from executive meetings
4. Coordination & Communication
- Liaise with internal departments (Finance, Accounting, Operations)
- Coordinate with external stakeholders such as auditors or consultants
- Communicate financial insights in a clear and concise manner
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics.
Professional certification such as CMA / ACCA / CPA preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, including financial management, cost control, and investment analysis.
Proven track record in inventory and cost optimization projects.
Experience collaborating across functions (production, procurement, planning, engineering).
Skills:
Strong financial modeling, cost analysis, and investment appraisal abilities.
Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.
Strategic mindset with focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
