Job Description

About Seedcom Group

Seedcom Joint Stock Company (Seedcom) is a diversified holding group focused on building and scaling a modern retail group of companies in Vietnam. The company operates across retail, wholesale, technology, and logistics through a portfolio of businesses and strategic investments, including KingFoodMart, Aidimart, New Retail CPG, Juno, Haravan.

Seedcom brings together a group of experienced entrepreneurs and operators with a track record of building and scaling market-leading consumer businesses in Vietnam. This entrepreneurial DNA continues to shape how the group identifies opportunities, builds new ventures, and partners with high-potential companies. At its core, Seedcom focuses on applying data, technology, and operational excellence to improve how retail businesses are built and scaled. Its teams leverage data analytics and practical applications of artificial intelligence to optimize supply chains, enhance customer experience, and enable more efficient decision-making across the ecosystem.

Through close integration between its portfolio companies and partners, Seedcom is developing a connected, technology-enabled retail and wholesale infrastructure — linking consumers, merchants, and suppliers across both online and offline channels, with a primary focus on the Vietnamese market and long-term ambitions for regional growth.

Role Overview

The Group FP&A leads financial planning and analysis for Seedcom Group and its portfolio companies. Reporting to the Group CFO, the role owns the annual budget and rolling forecast cycle, drives monthly business performance reviews, and builds the unit-economics and driver-based models that management uses to allocate capital and steer growth.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a finance professional who can move comfortably between detailed models and board-level storytelling — turning numbers from retail stores, wholesale channels, and technology businesses into clear, actionable insights for the Group CFO, portfolio CEOs, and the Board.

1. Key Responsibilities

1.1 Annual Budget & Rolling Forecast

  • Own the group-wide annual budgeting process: set timelines, templates and assumptions; consolidate submissions from portfolio companies.
  • Run monthly/quarterly rolling forecasts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) and explain changes versus budget and prior forecast.
  • Challenge business-unit plans with management to ensure targets are ambitious, realistic and aligned with group strategy.

1.2 Business Performance Review

  • Lead monthly business performance reviews (MBR) for the Group CFO and portfolio CEOs — actual vs. budget vs. forecast, with root-cause variance analysis.
  • Build and maintain group KPI dashboards and management reporting packs for Management.
  • Track agreed action items from performance reviews and follow up on execution with business units.
  • Develop base, upside and downside scenarios; identify emerging risks and opportunities early, and recommend corrective actions or resource reallocation.

1.3 Unit Economics & Driver Trees

  • Develop driver-based models and KPI trees (traffic, conversion, basket size, gross margin, store/channel contribution, CAC/LTV, etc.) for each business model.
  • Analyse unit economics at store, category, channel and customer level to identify profit levers and loss-making areas.
  • Provide financial evaluation for new initiatives, store openings/closures, pricing and promotion decisions.

1.4 Cash, Capex & Working-Capital Forecast

  • Prepare group and entity-level cash flow forecasts in coordination with Group Treasury.
  • Manage the capex planning; evaluate returns (NPV, IRR, payback) and track post-investment performance.
  • Monitor working-capital drivers (inventory days, receivable and payable days) and propose improvement actions.

1.5 FP&A Capability & Team Development

  • Standardise planning processes, chart of KPIs and reporting templates across the group; drive automation of models and reports (BI tools, data platforms, AI where practical).
  • Coordinate with Group Financial Control to ensure consistency between management and statutory figures.
  • Lead, coach and develop FP&A analysts at group level and guide business-unit finance partners.

2. Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; CFA, ACCA, CPA or MBA is a strong advantage.
  • At least 6–8 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or financial consulting, including 2+ years in a lead or managerial role.
  • Preferred: experience in multi-entity groups, retail, FMCG/wholesale, e-commerce or technology businesses.
  • Experience with investment banking, Big 4 advisory or management consulting is a plus.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Advanced financial modelling in Excel/Google Sheets; solid understanding of the three financial statements and VAS/IFRS basics.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools (Power BI, Looker, Tableau) and ERP/planning systems; SQL is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills — able to turn complex data into concise recommendations for senior management.
  • Good English communication skills (written and spoken).

3. What We Offer

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience, discussed directly during the interview process.
  • A fast-paced, large-scale working environment with direct exposure to the Group CFO and senior leadership across a diverse retail and technology portfolio.
  • Continuous learning and development support — internal training programmes and leadership capability development.
  • Full statutory benefits: social insurance (BHXH), health insurance (BHYT), unemployment insurance (BHTN); annual leave; Tet and public holiday bonuses.
  • Performance-based bonus aligned with individual and group results.
