Finance & Accounting Manager

On behalf of our client,Sunbytes is looking for aFinance & Accounting Managerto join a growingEuropean manufacturing companyin Tay Ninh.

This position will take ownership of the full Finance & Accounting function in Vietnam, covering financial reporting, accounting operations, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, taxation, audit, compliance, costing, and business performance analysis. The role will work closely with the General Manager in Vietnam and the Managing Director in Europe, while leading the local accounting team.

This is a highly hands-on position suitable for someone who desires working in anSME environment, where the Finance Manager is expected not only to supervise and review but also to actively participate in day-to-day Finance & Accounting activities.

• Take overall responsibility for Finance & Accounting activities of the Vietnam entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and strong financial controls.
  
• Manage accounting operations includingAccounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, invoicing, payroll, cash management, and financial transactions.
  
• Lead thebudgeting and forecasting process, monitor financial performance, and analyze variances against targets.
  
• Managecash flow, working capital, profitability, and financial risks
  
• Ensure compliance withVietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), taxation requirements, statutory reporting, internal policies, and group requirements.
  
• Coordinate with external auditors and relevant authorities and take ownership of statutory and financial audits.
  
• Manage product costing, inventory valuation, and cost variance analysis
  
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations for investments, projects, pricing, cost optimization, and business decisions.
  
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including financing and loan-related activities.
  
• Support the improvement and optimization of ERP systems, accounting processes, reporting tools, and internal controls.
  
• Act as the key Finance contact between the Vietnam operation and European headquarters.
  
• Lead, coach, and work closely with the local accounting team while remaining actively involved in operational Finance & Accounting tasks.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree inAccounting, Auditing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  
• Minimum7 yearsof relevant Finance & Accounting experience
  
• Proven experience inbudgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and management reporting.
  
• Solid understanding ofVietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), taxation, statutory reporting, and local financial regulations.
  
• Experience withIFRS/group reportingis an advantage.
  
• Experience working withERP systems and advanced Excel, including implementation, optimization, or key-user responsibilities.
  
• Professional accounting qualifications such asACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalentwould be an advantage.
  
• Experience inmanufacturing, export-oriented, multinational, or FDI companiesis strongly preferred, particularly within European organizations.
  
• Fluent English is mandatoryfor direct communication with international management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
  
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with both local and international teams.
