Field Application Engineer Intern (FAE Intern)

Role Description:

This part-time/full-time, on-site Field Application Engineer Intern (FAE Intern) role is based in Ho Chi Minh City.

The intern will support ATOP's Sales team in analyzing customer requirements, verifying specifications, and configuring and testing industrial networking products, including Ethernet switches, protocol gateways, 4G/5G cellular routers, and NTP/PTP time synchronization devices.

The role offers hands-on technical experience and potential career development into a full-time FAE position.

Qualifications

• Education: Third-year students onward or fresh graduates in Network Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or related fields.
• Networking Knowledge: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, IP addressing, switching, routing, VLANs, and networking devices.
• Technical Skills: Ability to read and understand English technical documentation, including datasheets and user manuals.
• Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with Modbus, Profinet, SNMP, NTP/PTP protocols, and Antenna signals is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with attention to technical details.
• Communication: Good English reading and writing skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Attitude: Proactive, responsible, eager to learn, and passionate about industrial networking, cybersecurity, and telecommunications technologies.
• Availability: Willing to work on-site in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.
