OVERVIEW:
Our client, a globally recognized apparel manufacturer, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Plant Manager to lead and oversee the operations of their manufacturing facility in Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in knitwear production and be capable of managing large-scale operations while ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and compliance with global manufacturing standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee all plant operations including production, quality control, planning, maintenance, and compliance.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing processes.
- Ensure the timely delivery of production targets while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
- Drive operational excellence and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators and prepare regular operational reports for senior management.
- Manage workforce planning, training, and development in alignment with company goals.
PRE-REQUISITES:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Textile, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 57 years of experience in apparel manufacturing.
- Strong hands-on exposure to operations, production, and manufacturing management.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage large teams and drive performance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
