Engineering Attendant

As we are expanding our portfolio in Phu Quoc, Vietnam, we are looking for an Engineering Attendant to join our pre-opening team. As an Engineering Attendant, you will support the Engineering team in maintaining the property's facilities, equipment, and technical systems to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment for our guests and colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day maintenance of engineering systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and breakdowns.
• Support the Engineering team with electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance tasks as required.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and engineering areas in good working condition.
• Report technical issues and maintenance requirements to the Engineering Supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Support pre-opening activities, installations, testing, and commissioning where required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment issues.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in an engineering or maintenance role, preferably within a hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and air-conditioning systems.
• Practical troubleshooting skills and a willingness to learn.
• A proactive, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
