Duties & Responsibilities
People Leadership (15%)
- Leads, develops, and coaches a high-performing team of regional TM/L&D professionals within the region.
- Sets priorities, manages performance, and aligns resources to meet regional & global strategic objectives.
- Builds a team culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Talent Development and Management (25%)
- Develop and drive strategies focused on talent development, performance management, and succession planning ensuring regional activities align with global programs and frameworks.
- Partner with HR Leaders to identify and develop high-potential talent through Talent Review and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) process, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Partner with HR and business leaders to grow internal talent and prepare future leaders through targeted development efforts.
Learning and Development (35%)
- Lead the design and implementation of a comprehensive learning and development strategy tailored to the needs of different locations and departments, ensuring alignment with global standards.
- Partner with local HR teams to deploy global learning and development programs within the region, ensuring they are relevant, impactful and enhance individual and team performance.
- Partner with the LMS Team to support the rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement of online learning tools and resources, ensuring a seamless and engaging employee development experience.
- Monitor and report on learning analytics to assess the effectiveness of learning programs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with external training providers to deliver high-quality learning experiences, ensuring alignment with regional needs and global standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled learning solutions that support scalable, high-impact development across regional employee populations.
- Translate talent and learning data into actionable insights and compelling narratives for regional leadership.
Strategic Alignment and Collaboration (15%)
- Act as the primary TM/L&D liaison for the region, ensuring alignment with global TM/L&D COE strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison between the global TM/L&D COE and regional stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication of goals, strategies, and progress.
- Collaborate with HRBPs and cross-functional teams to drive consistent adoption and integration of Talent Management and Learning initiatives across the region.
- Share regional insights and feedback on the effectiveness of global frameworks to optimize outcomes and inform future strategies.
- Build capability in talent data fluency across the regional HR team to improve decision-making.
- Cultivate strong working relationships with HRBPs, senior leadership, and key business leaders to understand regional challenges and drive organizational development best practices.
- Lead/Support global TM/L&D efforts beyond the region by participating in enterprise-wide initiatives, special projects, and the development of scalable frameworks and tools.
Reporting and Continuous Improvement (10%)
- Track defined metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness and ROI of TM/L&D initiatives in the region.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for the Global TM/L&D COE Leader and regional business leadership, outlining program impacts, lessons learned, and recommendations.
- Utilize data-driven insightsto make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement across all initiatives.
- Monitor and report on talent analytics to assess program effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Qualification & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a closely related field (Masters degree a plus).
- 10+ years of progressive experience in organizational development / talent management, ideally within a global or multicultural environment.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing and developing professional teams across geographic boundaries.
Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and build trust and credibility in a team-oriented environment with diverse cross-functional teams and key business partners at all levels of the organization.
- Fluency with speaking, reading and writing in English is required to be able to communicate (verbal and written) to a global audience.
- Exceptional judgment in selecting methods and techniques to achieve goals with minimal guidance.
- Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into action.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively on time-driven projects
- Strong time management, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or digital learning platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
