About the Role

With our FinTech platform Akkuro (https://akkuro.com), we are on a mission to transform financial services through technology that creates meaningful impact for banks and their customers worldwide.

We are leading the charge in Agentic Banking – a new paradigm where banks evolve into ecosystems of intelligent, autonomous agents delivering personalized, proactive, and seamless financial experiences.

We are seeking a well-connected and commercially driven leader to spearhead our expansion into the Vietnamese banking sector for Akkuro.

In this strategic role, you will leverage your deep understanding of the local financial landscape and your existing network to navigate state-influenced institutions, build high-trust relationships, and convert market opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage your existing network to open doors within Vietnamese banks and financial institutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive end-to-end business development, from initial contact to deal closure
  • Position Akkuro as a trusted and credible partner in the banking sector
  • Navigate complex, multi-layered decision-making processes in semi-government environments
  • Identify partnership opportunities and develop go-to-market strategies for the Vietnamese market
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (product, delivery, leadership) to align offerings with market needs
  • Represent the company at industry events, forums, and meetings

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the Vietnamese banking or financial services sector
  • Strong existing network within banks and/or regulatory-related environments
  • Track record in business development, partnerships, or enterprise sales
  • Deep understanding of how state-influenced organizations operate
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes in a relationship-driven environment
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English
  • Experience in fintech, SaaS, or technology-driven solutions is a strong plus
