Digital & IT Senior Analyst

Position Summary

JOB PURPOSE

This role will be the Business Unit Digital & IT member in Vietnam, leveraging knowledge in several technical or business disciplines to collaborate with peers in deploying highly secure and resilient information technology solutions. This position has a direct reporting line to the Digital & IT Team Leader, partners with functional leads in Vietnam to help set departmental goals and technology targets.

MAIN DUTIES

• Lead the planning, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of secure, resilient, and scalable Digital & IT infrastructure services for the MPSD Dong Nai location.
• Manage site infrastructure operations including network connectivity, servers, site IT facilities, access control, backup, monitoring, incident response, and service continuity.
• Ensure infrastructure platforms, systems, and services comply with Parker Corporate Digital & IT standards, cybersecurity requirements, policies, processes, and established service levels.
• Provide technical leadership for infrastructure projects, system upgrades, technology deployments, and service improvement initiatives.
• Support containerized infrastructure environments, including Docker deployment, networking, ingress management, and persistent storage management.
• Work with corporate IT to support and maintain core networking services and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, load balancing, and related security controls.
• Partner with local functional leaders, regional Digital & IT teams, business users, vendors, and contractors to understand business requirements and deliver effective infrastructure solutions.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, change records, and compliance evidence to support audit readiness and future maintainability.
• Facilitate user training and awareness on Digital & IT systems, infrastructure services, security practices, and technology adoption.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Digital & IT team members, including development planning, knowledge sharing, and day-to-day operational direction.

Jobholder Requirements

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an international equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 8+ years of Digital & IT experience, including infrastructure operations, site IT support, and at least 3 years in a team lead, supervisor, project lead, or deputy manager capacity.
• Proven experience leading a local IT team, including task assignment, workload prioritization, coaching, performance input, capability development, and cross-functional coordination.
• Strong experience managing site infrastructure operations in a manufacturing or multinational environment.
• Ability to act as deputy to the IT Team Leader, represent IT in local operational meetings, support decision-making, and coordinate priorities across business functions.
• Experience supporting IT audit, cybersecurity compliance, change management, disaster recovery, business continuity, and IT service management processes.
• Ability to demonstrate Agile methodologies and apply Agile practices to daily work, project delivery, service improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• High level of proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
• Infrastructure Virtualization, High Availability & Container Platforms: Experience supporting virtualized, high-availability, and containerized infrastructure environments, including VMware vCenter, server HA, cluster management, network configuration, ingress/load balancing, storage management, and Docker-based application deployment/support.
• Observability & System Resilience: Strong background implementing monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions to support SLOs/SLAs, root-cause analysis, incident response, system availability, and service resilience.
• Networking & Security Compliance: Deep knowledge of core networking protocols and technologies, including TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, and load balancing, combined with security best practices and access control, including IAM.
• CI/CD Pipeline Integration — Preferred: Experience building and maintaining deployment pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps, including infrastructure testing, security scanning, and zero-downtime release practices
