Required Skills : Looking for a DB2 LUW DBA Resource, AWS, AWS RDS, Linux – Red Hat

The selected candidate will join a project team as part of an hybrid delivery model, collaborating with dedicated resources who leverage common tools, technologies, and methodologies to deliver client engagements effectively.

Solid understanding of RDBMS concepts and DB2 LUW database.
Experience in DB2 LUW instance and database creation on Linux/ Unix and Windows environment (on-premise and Cloud)
Experience in Linux/ Unix shell scripting, shell command, crontab and vi editor
Database objects creation, DB object migration and data conversion
Knowledge on DB2 partitioning, PureScale and Federation setup is a plus
Experience in Logical and Physical Data Modeling.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask; can set priorities and follow a timeline. Ready to work on flexible work schedule.
Deep knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL
Knowledge of query performance tuning
Strong communication skills, both written and oral

Responsibilities :

Support application development teams by understanding technical and business requirements, providing database services, and contributing to database design.
The role will be responsible for managing and maintaining database environments, supporting operational stability, and performing database migrations to cloud-based platforms.
