The role

You'll own customer and pricing models end to end: building them, shipping them, and making sure the business actually uses them. You'll work directly with US-based stakeholders and help level up junior teammates.

What you'll own

• Customer and pricing models, end to end: lifetime value, churn prediction, and price elasticity. You build them, ship them, and make sure the business actually uses them.
• Recommendations people act on: you'll explain results to US business owners in plain English, not in model metrics.
• Your domain: you estimate your own work, manage your timeline, and deliver without someone checking in every day.
• The team's bar: better code, better docs, better ways of working. You'll also help junior teammates grow.
• AI-first working: we pay for Claude, Cursor, and Copilot. Use them to move faster, and show the team what works.

What you need

• 5+ years in data science, with models running in production (not only notebooks)
• Hands-on experience with at least 2 of these: Customer Lifetime Value, churn prediction, price elasticity
• Strong Python and SQL; solid stats foundation
• Experience working with US teams or clients
• Clear written and spoken English; you can explain a model to a business owner without jargon
• Available for 2-4 hours overlap with US time, 3 times a week

Nice to have

• Experience in retail/ e-commerce / subscription/ e-wallet business
• Causal inference or experimentation (A/B testing)
• MLOps basics: deployment, monitoring
