Role Description

The Data Engineer Intern is a full-time, on-site role based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The intern will assist in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines to support analytics and AI-native operations, working closely with senior data engineers and cross-functional teams. Day-to-day tasks include supporting ETL workflows, contributing to data modeling efforts, helping maintain data warehouses, and validating data quality and consistency. The intern will also assist in preparing datasets for reporting and dashboards, documenting data processes, and collaborating on performance optimization and automation initiatives. This role offers exposure to enterprise data environments and modern cloud-based tooling aligned with EONSR's AI and data-driven services.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess foundational skills in Data Engineering and an interest in building scalable data pipelines.
• Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling to design and organize data structures that support analytics and reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Data Warehousing to manage data flow and storage across systems.
• Candidates should possess skills in Data Analytics to interpret data, generate insights, and support business decision-making.
• Basic familiarity with SQL and at least one programming language commonly used in data (such as Python or Java) is beneficial.
• Understanding of cloud platforms or modern data stack tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
