Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, reporting, and business-critical applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, PostgreSQL, AWS data services, ETL/ELT frameworks, and cloud-native data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and integration frameworks.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured data.
• Manage and enhance Snowflake and PostgreSQL (RDS) data platforms.
• Develop data processing solutions using Python, SQL, Shell scripting, and Java.
• Leverage AWS services including EMR and related cloud-native data technologies.
• Implement CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows.
• Design and support microservices-based data solutions and APIs.
• Monitor data quality, performance, availability, and security controls.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, and application teams to deliver data solutions.
• Support Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer or related role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake and PostgreSQL (RDS).
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and Amazon EMR.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT frameworks and data pipeline development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and software development practices.
• Understanding of Java and Microservices architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data lake and modern data platform architectures.
• AWS or Snowflake certifications.
• Experience with real-time or streaming data solutions.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and performance optimization.
