Job Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst who is passionate about leveraging data to drive business insights in the securities industry. In this role, you will work with large datasets to uncover meaningful patterns, support performance analysis, and help optimize business strategies across trading products, digital platforms, and marketing initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with business teams, product teams, and engineering teams to transform data into actionable insights that support decision-making and improve customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract, process, and analyze large structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights.
- Apply data analysis and data-mining techniques to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
- Define and standardize key business metrics and formulas related to securities field and financial products (e.g., assets, loans, trading activity, campaign performance).
- Monitor and analyze business KPIs to support performance optimization.
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports for business stakeholders.
- Ensure dashboards are reliable, scalable, and easy for stakeholders to interpret.
Data Collaboration & Integration
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data availability, data quality, and reporting pipelines.
- Support the evaluation and preparation of data sources for API usage and system integrations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance & Banking, Statistics, Data Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Superset, or similar BI platforms.
- Basic scripting or programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow) is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of the financial services or securities industry.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business insights.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
