About Our Client
Our client is a dynamic fintech company transforming financial services for SMEs in Vietnam. Through innovative Payroll Financing, Invoice Financing, and Earned Wage Access (EWA) products, they provide SMEs with flexible and accessible funding solutions.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Credit Analyst to join a dynamic fintech team. In this role, you will support the Credit Officers by analyzing financial data, designing robust analytical frameworks, and providing actionable insights to enhance credit decisions — playing a pivotal role in shaping credit risk management processes and driving data-driven strategies for SME financing.
What You'll Do
1. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Collect, process, and analyze financial data to assess the creditworthiness of SMEs.
- Develop detailed reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
- Analyze portfolio data and create reports/dashboards to continuously monitor and improve portfolio quality.
2. Propose Credit Decisions
- Collaborate with Credit Officers to evaluate customer credit applications and determine appropriate credit limits.
- Propose credit decisions with clear reasoning based on analysis and reporting.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in financial data to improve decision-making.
3. Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all processes align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
What You'll Need
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, business analytics, or credit risk management.
- Preferably with experience at Big4 firms (KPMG, PwC, Deloitte, EY).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Python.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and credit evaluation processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities to convey complex data insights clearly.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
