  • Credit risk and collection management in Asia Pacific
  • Recommend credit limits and payment terms through credit insurance and financial statement analysis with consideration of macro-economic conditions, qualitative factors, deployment of risk mitigation measures and trade finance instruments, business potential, payment performance etc.
  • Engage stakeholders to understand go-to-market strategies, customize solutions to meet business needs while minimizing credit risk and review portfolio performance
  • Execute credit insurance policy, manage insurance coverage applications and limit utilization of customer portfolios
  • Work closely with business partners such as Commercial, Legal, Operations, Treasury and Finance to implement risk mitigation strategies, resolve credit and collection issues
  • Drive collections and recover bad debts to optimize AR performance
  • Identify gaps in processes, recommend and manage initiatives to improve operational efficiency and meet corporate objectives, targets
  • Perform regular reviews on customers
  • Plan, design and support KPI monitoring; analyse and present credit performance results
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, finance or related discipline
  • Min. 3 years of credit analysis and collections management experience in a commodity trading/ manufacturing MNC or a bank
  • Strong communication, fluency in English, presentation, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Power BI, or equivalent business intelligence and data visualization tools, data analysis and interpretation
  • Committed, independent, analytical, driven and effective team player
  • Ability to work in a dynamic multi-cultural environment; liaise with various stakeholders across different geographies and management levels
  • Ability and willingness to learn and expand one's professional field
