Job Description

About Us

We are a fast-growing US-based e-commerce company specializing in premium home theater seating and automotive furniture under the Seatcraft and Qualitex brands. We sell across our own websites and major marketplaces, and we're building out our Ho Chi Minh City office as a key part of our global team. You'll work closely with our Vietnam colleagues and collaborate daily with our design and marketing team in the United States.

The Role: Creative Automation Designer (Figma & AI)

You will build and run the production line that turns our product data into finished, accurate, fast-loading images. This is not a traditional graphic design job. It is part designer, part systems builder, part quality inspector.

Every product we sell comes in many configurations: colours, materials, power headrests, recliner options and more. Today much of that imagery is assembled by hand. Your job is to make it repeatable. One input in, one correct set of product images out, dozens of times over.

You will use Figma as your production engine, Spreadsheets as the source of truth, our DAM as our image library, and AI tools (Figma Weave, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) to generate and scale imagery. Your work will feed our product pages, marketplaces and paid ads.

What You'll Do

  1. Own the product data sheet. Maintain the spreadsheet that drives our imagery.
  2. Build data-driven Figma templates. Create component-based templates using variants, variables and auto layout. Connect them to the spreadsheets so frames populate automatically with the right photos, text and badges.
  3. Pull and manage assets from our DAM. Make sure every image slot points to the correct, current asset. Flag and fix missing or outdated images.
  4. Generate imagery with AI. Use Figma Weave, ChatGPT, Claude and similar tools to create lifestyle scenes, colour variants and feature close-ups from live imagery and also where no photo exists. Write, test and document prompts so results are repeatable.
  5. Run quality control on every batch. Review all generated frames before anything ships. Check the right product, colour and option is shown, text sits where it should, nothing is cropped or broken. Fix issues in bulk, not one by one.
  6. Export for performance. Deliver images at the right dimensions and file size for each channel. Use modern formats (WebP/AVIF) and compression targets so our pages score well on Google PageSpeed Insights.
  7. Produce ad creatives at scale. Build ad templates for Google and Meta that generate many variations from one master. Tag each variation so performance data can be traced back to it.
  8. Improve the pipeline continuously. Automate manual steps, document the workflow and train colleagues in the HCMC office to use it.

What We Offer

  • Ownership of a system that powers imagery for hundreds of thousands of customers
  • Paid access to the AI and design tools you need, including Figma and Figma Weave
  • A collaborative international team across Vietnam and the US
  • Room to grow as our Vietnam office expands
  • Competitive compensation

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Advanced Figma skills. You build clean, structured files with components, variants, variables and auto layout. You have used data-population plugins.
  • A systems mindset. You enjoy building something once so it works a hundred times. You think in rules, naming conventions and templates.
  • A sharp eye for errors. You can scan 60 images and spot the one with the wrong colour or overflowing text. You take pride in output that is correct, not just attractive.
  • Daily AI use. You actively use AI tools to generate and edit images and to write prompts, formulas and small scripts. You can explain why an AI output was rejected.
  • Spreadsheet confidence. You are comfortable with spreadsheet formulas, lookups, data validation and bulk find-and-replace.
  • Solid design fundamentals. Clean layouts, intentional typography and consistent brand application.
  • Understanding of web image performance. You know how file size, format and dimensions affect page speed.
  • Clear written English for daily work with our US team.
  • 3+ years in graphic, e-commerce or production design, including 1+ year working heavily in Figma.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with Figma Weave or other node-based AI workflow tools
  • Experience with a DAM (digital asset management) systems
  • Automation tools such as Zapier, Make, or Apps Scripts
  • E-commerce product imagery for Shopify or Amazon
  • Experience producing performance ad creative and A/B test variations for Google and Meta

No prior creative automation role That's fine. If you have strong Figma structure skills and want to automate tedious processes, have a technical and curious mindset, we will train you on the rest.
