Cost Controller- Phu Quoc, Vietnam

We are urgently looking for an experienced Cost Controller to join our growing operations in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

This role will be responsible for monitoring and controlling food, beverage, and operational costs across our hospitality operations, ensuring accurate inventory, cost reporting, and effective cost-control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze food, beverage, and operational costs
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports and variance analysis
• Conduct inventory counts and reconcile stock movements
• Review purchasing, receiving, transfers, wastage, and consumption
• Monitor recipe costing, menu costing, and selling-price margins
• Identify cost discrepancies, unusual variances, and areas for improvement
• Work closely with Finance, Purchasing, Kitchen, Bar, and Operations teams
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal cost-control procedures
• Support month-end closing and inventory reconciliation

Ideal Candidate:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant Cost Control experience within hospitality, preferably within hotels, resorts, restaurants, or multi-outlet F&B operations.
• Strong knowledge of F&B costing, inventory control, purchasing, and stock management.
• Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory/POS/accounting systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Vietnamese fluency required; working English communication skills is highly preferred.
