Cost Accountant

Job Summary

The Cost Accountant is responsible for managing and controlling cost accounting activities, monitoring project and operational costs, and ensuring accurate financial and tax reporting. This role works closely with the Chief Accountant to support budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis, contributing to effective cost management and sound financial decision-making across the company.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and control cost accounting data and costing processes in compliance with regulations.
• Monitor and review tax reports (VAT, PIT, CIT) and support the Chief Accountant on tax-related matters and risk control.
• Track construction and project progress, including cost and payment schedules.
• Prepare financial statements, consolidated reports, and management reports.
• Participate in inventory and fixed asset stocktakes (periodic and ad hoc).
• Review cash flow plans and approve payment proposals.
• Support budgeting and cost planning on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, or related fields.
• Solid knowledge of cost accounting and costing methodologies.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, import–export, or multi-branch organizations.
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and ability to work with large data sets.
• Willingness to travel when required.
