Contract Administrator (Procurement)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Hybrid

Employment: Full-time

Start: Immediate

MarketConnect is looking for a Contract Administrator (Procurement) to join our growing team in Vietnam.

We are a specialist procurement consultancy supporting complex capital projects, with a strong focus on datacenter construction. We manage tendering, bid evaluation and contract management for international clients and engineering consultancies, including large-scale datacenter projects in the Nordics.

About the role

You will work directly with our founder on live European datacenter projects, supporting procurement and contract administration across contractor and owner-furnished equipment packages. This is a hands-on role. From day one, you will be involved in real tenders, bid evaluations, contract preparation and client deliverables. The position is intended to develop into a Procurement Manager role as you gain experience and take ownership of packages end to end.

What you will do

  • Prepare and issue tender packages and manage tender timelines and bidder registers
  • Manage clarification logs, responses and tender addenda
  • Prepare bid opening records and control tender submissions
  • Build commercial comparisons and review bids for completeness and compliance
  • Identify commercial and contractual deviations
  • Support scoring and preparation of bid evaluation reports
  • Draft contracts, Letters of Intent and purchase orders using established templates
  • Track amendments, variations and change requests
  • Maintain contract registers and correspondence records
  • Prepare procurement trackers and status reports
  • Communicate directly with suppliers, contractors and client teams

What we are looking for

You should have 3–6 years of experience in contract administration, quantity surveying or procurement within construction or infrastructure projects.

  • Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts
  • Experience working with international clients
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Structured and detail-oriented way of working
  • Availability to overlap with European working hours during Vietnam afternoons

Experience on industrial projects, a background with an international consultancy or contractor, and a degree in quantity surveying, construction management, engineering or law are advantages. Being comfortable using AI tools to work faster and more accurately is also a plus.
