Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and revenue growth on eCommerce marketplaces, such as Lazada and Shopee, as well as other local eCommerce platforms
• Ensuring these strategies achieve sales and revenue targets and KPIs
• Analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve customer engagement and increase brand visibility
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners, including eCommerce marketplaces, vendors, and suppliers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Marketing and Operations, to ensure seamless execution of eCommerce initiatives, meeting the requirement needs of cashflow and profitability for the business
• Provide leadership and mentorship to the Commercial team, setting goals and tracking progress against them
• Close collaboration with Head of Capability in providing training materials and support to ensure continuous development of team
• Ensuring the team delivers A+ performance to meet the highest level of marketplace platform certification
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company stays competitive in the eCommerce space.
  
  

EXPERIENCE:

• Strong revenue, GMV, margin and profitability ownership
• Understand pricing, trading terms, commercial negotiation and business models
• Deep understanding of Shopee, TikTok Shop, Lazada and marketplace dynamics
• Ability to identify growth opportunities, build commercial strategies and develop new business
• Strong account expansion and cross-selling mindset
• Strong C-level / senior client engagement
• Able to negotiate, influence and manage complex stakeholders across brand, platform and internal teams
• Proven experience managing senior commercial teams
• Ability to coach, develop and build a high-performing team
