Clearance Support Agent (Export)

Job Description:

• Working hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday to Saturday
• Location: Tan Binh, Ho Chi Minh City
  
  

1. Job Overview


The Clearance Support Agent (Export) supports the smooth and timely customs clearance of outbound express shipments by ensuring that required shipment information and documentation are complete and accurate.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Contact customers and overseas offices to obtain missing shipment documents.
• Provide customers with guidance regarding export customs requirements, export permits, licensing requirements, certificates and other regulatory export obligations.
• Check export documents for completeness before customs declaration.
• Follow up with customers to ensure timely submission of export declarations and supporting documents.
• Monitor held export shipments daily and drive follow-up action.
• Resolve document discrepancies with customers and internal teams.
• Manage and maintain customer instructions and customer information databases to ensure information remains accurate and up to date.
• Support export compliance checks in accordance with company and regulatory requirements, and escalate shipment issues, regulatory concerns or customer-related delays to the supervisor when required.
  
  

3. Requirements

• High school diploma or above with a background in Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field is a plus.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a customs clearance environment; export-side experience preferred.
• Good understanding of export shipment documentation and customs clearance processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Good customer communication skills via phone and email.
