Job Purpose

This role is in charge of partnership distribution which includes bancassurance channel, digital sales and alternative distribution channels (non-banca, non-agency), the role leads partnership strategy as part of Prudential Vietnam Assurance (PVA) business strategy including partnership acquisition, business development, partnership relationship management, total partnership business performance including APE, NBP, persistency and other sales quality criteria.

This role also leads the entire Partnership Distributions sales force; Strategic planning and operations (PD sales planning, biz performance, PD Biz solutions & operation effectiveness, PD strategic & project management, sales recruitment and operations); PD Channel marketing & communication; PD People development (training & development, people capability development & Alternative partnership growth of PD division.

Job Accountability

This Role Is Accountable For

one. PD Strategic Planning:

  • Lead all strategic planning discussion and planning by working with relevant stakeholders to drive PD to become role model of market (including market share, sales quality, digitalization, regulatory involvement)
  • Represent for PVA to actively work with internal and external stakeholders (Group, regulators) for partnership distribution matters.

2. Partnership Acquisition And Business Development, Relationship Management

  • Drive the partnership acquisition by identifying new opportunities to win the partnership deals to support for PVA partnership strategy.
  • Lead the relationship building with partners to ensure PVA could capture business opportunities and drive for sustainable performance as stipulated in the Distribution Agreement.

3. Bancassurance Business Performance

  • In charge of PD target in terms of APE, NBP, persistency, customer growth and customer penetration from each partner
  • In charge of sales quality, sales transformation, and innovative customer experience

4. PD Salesforce Building

  • In charge of PD salesforce to ensure the qualified workforce in terms of quantity and quality (capability) to deliver sustainable growth.

5. Risk Management And Compliance

  • Work closely with the Risk management / Compliance to make sure the PD operations comply with the regulations and internal policies

Job Requirements / Yu cu

Education

  • Bachelors degree in related to Business Administration, Finance and banking... Masters degree is an advantage

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience with majority coming in insurance distribution, consume banking (eg partnership management, general management, business development with a proven track record in building and scaling partnership with bank and other alternative partners include 7 years in C-suite or senior leadership roles in complex, fast-paced and autonomous environment in multinational organization

Knowledge & Skills

  • A strong financial background, including the ability to understand complex financial structures and transactions within the context of partnerships distributions and a strong interpersonal skills with ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying partner needs
  • Comprehensive management skills and experience, including but not limited to short- and long-term planning, evaluation, directing and motivating staff, financial management, organizational development, and governance.
  • Strong strategic, conceptual thinker who can drive quickly to a clear and concise synthesis of complex issues and concepts and make thoughtful and clear decisions in the face of ambiguity and complexity.
  • Proven ability to influence and persuade others at all levels within an organization to garner support for the Development goals and achieve alignment across the organization.
