Cake Recruitment Consulting is recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on behalf of our client - a listed and globally recognized South Korean FDI manufacturing enterprise. This executive role leads the entire Finance & Accounting operations in Vietnam, partnering directly with top leadership and corporate headquarters in South Korea.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Strategy & Advisory: Formulate company-wide financial strategies, advising the Board and General Director on investments, capital structure, and risk management.
Financial Reporting: Oversee financial and accounting systems under VAS and IFRS, managing financial consolidation with Korean HQ.
Operational Finance: Direct cash flow, budgeting, production cost accounting, and overall financial efficiency.
Tax & Compliance: Lead tax planning, external audit management, transfer pricing, and statutory financial compliance.
Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary contact for financial institutions, tax authorities, external auditors, and corporate HQ.
Team Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing Finance & Accounting division.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory:

Executive Background: Prior experience in a CFO, VP, EVP, or equivalent executive finance role.
Experience: Minimum of 20 years in Finance and Accounting.
Education & Credentials: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, with an active CPA certification.
IFRS Expertise: Direct hands-on experience applying and reporting under IFRS.
Languages: Fluent English is required; working proficiency in Korean is a strong advantage.

Preferred:

Executive background in large-scale manufacturing enterprises (1,000+ headcount) or Korean FDI setups.
Possession of a Chief Accountant Certificate, Tax Agent License, or ERP implementation experience.
