Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on CFO to take full ownership of the finance function based in HANOI, Vietnam.

Our client is a PE backed global leader in digital real estate media services with offices across three continents (Europe, Asia and Americas). The company is undergoing rapid transformation and operates in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

The CFO covers the entire finance agenda – from group reporting, controlling, and cash flow to strategic finance, and value creation together with the Executive Management team, Board and owners.

They will be part of the Executive Management team, report to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the finance function across all the entities (Europe/Asia and US)
Monthly close, group consolidation, and reporting to the Board and our owners
Budgeting, rolling forecasting, and FP&A, including long-term planning and scenario analysis
Business partnering with Executive Management and operational leaders on pricing, margin, capacity, and investment decisions
Acting as right hand to the CEO – providing sparring, financial insight, and constructive challenge to decision-making
Cash flow and working capital management, including driving improvements in DSO, and DPO to strengthen liquidity and cash conversion
Group tax, transfer pricing, statutory reporting, and audit across three jurisdictions
Ownership of the finance systems landscape (ERP, FP&A, and BI) and continued automation of the finance function
Leadership and development of the finance team in Hanoi
Driving improvement of financial processes, controls, and data quality across the group – including in areas where the starting point is imperfect

Requirements

Solid experience as CFO, Finance Director, or Head of Finance in an international company
Experience from a PE-backed environment, or are motivated by working in one
Strong technically within accounting, consolidation, and reporting across multiple countries, entities, and currencies
Proven track record within FP&A, business partnering, and management reporting Have led finance teams across locations and cultures, and enjoy developing people – ideally with experience from Asia or another cross-cultural setting
Hands-on – comfortable building the model yourself while also leading the function •
Systems, data, and AI savvy and sees them as levers for a better finance function, not as a threat
Commercially minded, structured, and able to prioritise in a fast-moving environment
