Description
Strategic Leadership
- Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and executive team to support long-term business objectives
- Contribute to the development and execution of the organization's overall strategy
- Evaluate investment, growth, and capital allocation opportunities with a disciplined financial lens
Financial Management & Performance
- Oversee all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting activities
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in line with local regulatory and accounting standards
- Drive financial efficiency, cost discipline, and sustainable profitability
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, and risk management frameworks
- Maintain compliance with all applicable financial, tax, and regulatory requirements
- Act as a senior steward of financial integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as a senior financial representative with key external stakeholders, including regulators, auditors and advisors
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders across all business functions
Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team
- Foster a strong culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement
- Ensure succession planning and capability uplift within the finance function
Profile
- Demonstrated success in a senior finance leadership role (CFO, Finance Director, or equivalent)
- Experience operating within complex, regulated, or large-scale environments
- Prior experience within financial services, banking, or similarly regulated sectors is desirable
- Strong understanding of the Vietnam business, regulatory, and compliance landscape
- Exposure to regional or international operating models is advantageous
- Advanced capability in financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong command of governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
- Commercially astute, with the ability to translate financial insight into strategic and operational outcomes
- Highly credible, discreet, and trusted advisor to executive and governance stakeholders
- Strategic and analytical, with the ability to operate effectively at both enterprise and operational levels
- Clear, authoritative communicator with strong stakeholder influence
- Resilient and adaptable, comfortable operating in confidential and tightly governed environments
- Vietnamese and English fluency is required
