Responsibilities

• Overall accountability for the accounting system, ensuring compliance, transparency, and business decision support.
• Lead and oversee all accounting and finance operations under VAS, with readiness for IFRS adoption.
• Manage cash flow, receivables, and working capital; optimize payment cycles with hotels and agencies.
• Ensure accurate tax reporting and full compliance with tax regulations.
• Design, standardize, and implement end-to-end finance and accounting processes: operations, invoicing, receivables, payments, and reporting.
• Develop and enhance internal management systems (CRM, BO) for accuracy and timeliness of information.
• Establish robust internal controls and a transparent financial governance framework.
• Act as primary liaison with tax authorities, auditors, and banks.
• Partner with legal for contract review.
• Lead, mentor 10 member accounting team; collaborate closely with Sales, Operations, and Marketing.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing; CPA, ACCA, or CFA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience as Chief Accountant or in a similar leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of VAS and taxation in the tourism industry; strong advantage with IFRS expertise.
• Proven ability in cash flow management, budgeting, financial analysis, and implementing automation systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• High integrity, strategic thinking, and ability to perform under pressure during peak seasons, audits, or periods of expansion and fundraising.
