Job Description

This role partners closely with People & Culture (P&C) Executives and senior functional leaders to drive strategic transformation, operational excellence, and disciplined portfolio delivery across the P&C function. Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic enabler, the role connects strategy with execution through governance, insights, executive reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful delivery of P&C priorities and enterprise outcomes.

YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role connects P&C strategy with execution, using strong governance, workforce insights, and senior stakeholder engagement to deliver outcomes across:

  • P&C transformation and portfolio delivery
  • Culture, leadership, talent, reward, and capability development
  • Colleague services and workforce planning
  • People analytics, governance, and executive reporting

1. Business Performance Tracking & Insights

  • Work with People Analytics teams to turn workforce data into clear insights and recommendations that help leaders make better decisions about people, talent, and the organisation.
  • Track and analyse workforce, talent, culture, leadership, and employee experience trends to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Take ownership of the P&C performance management framework, ensuring key metrics are monitored and business outcomes are tracked.
  • Prepare performance reports for senior leaders, highlighting progress, key risks, important decisions, and recommended actions.

2. Presentation & Executive Communication

  • Prepare Board, ExCo, and leadership updates, presentations, and papers that clearly explain key People & Culture priorities and support important business decisions.
  • Develop leadership dashboards and reports that turn people data into clear insights, highlight risks and opportunities, and help leaders take action.
  • Lead and coordinate the overall P&C story across teams, business units, and locations, ensuring leaders understand key priorities, decisions, and expected outcomes.

3. PMO Governance & Operational Discipline

  • Manage P&C leadership operating rhythms, including leadership team meetings, governance forums, strategic planning cycles, and executive decision-making processes.
  • Ensure clear cadence, agendas, documentation, decisions and follow-through for executive and portfolio meetings.
  • Standardise templates, dashboards and reporting formats to strengthen clarity, accountability and control.
  • Track progress, dependencies, risks, issues and decisions across the P&C portfolio.
  • Drive alignment across P&C centres of expertise, colleague services, business partners and enterprise stakeholders.

4. Strategic Initiative Management

  • Lead and coordinate key P&C projects, ensuring plans are developed, progress is tracked, and objectives are achieved.
  • Work closely with teams across Culture, Leadership, Talent Management, Reward, Colleague Services, and Tech Academy to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor project milestones, budgets, risks, and issues, and ensure any problems are addressed or escalated early.
  • Support workforce planning by analysing future talent needs, workforce data, capacity requirements, and organisational changes.
  • Partner with business and P&C leaders to track workforce plans, hiring priorities, organisational changes, and capability-building initiatives.

5. Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, Organisational Psychology, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in People & Culture, HR transformation, PMO, consulting, operations, strategy or a related role.
  • Strong program and PMO capabilities, including planning, governance, risk management, reporting and delivery follow-through.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior stakeholders and coordinating complex, cross-functional people initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations, papers and storytelling.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using people data, KPIs, scorecards and dashboards to generate insights.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound judgement, discretion and confidence working with sensitive people and organisational information.

Preferred

  • Experience in HR consulting, People & Culture transformation or a P&C centre of expertise is a strong advantage.
  • Experience working across countries, regions or global operating models is preferred.
  • Experience with HR technology, shared services, workforce transformation, learning academies or financial services is a plus.
