We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to support the monitoring, operations, and expansion of our partnership ecosystem. This role focuses on managing existing partners while developing partnership opportunities to embed Cake's banking product in partners ecosystem.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with external partners, driving commercial initiatives, and ensuring smooth business operations across multiple stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Business Development and Support
- Assist in researching, evaluating, and preparing materials for new partners, including cross-border opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with partners and support issue resolution.
- Build and maintain strong working-level relationships with partners; demonstrate a solid understanding of partners organizational structure, roles, and internal coordination processes.
- Gather, analyze, and synthesize partners business activities, operating models, and processes to support partner assessment and collaboration initiatives.
Partnership operation
- Monitor daily partner operations, transaction flows, incidents, and performance metrics.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Tech, Risk, Finance) to deliver partner requests and project activities.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's products and partnership models.
- Proactively monitor partnership performance, identify, define issues, and collaborate with internal teams to drive timely and effective solutions.
Process & Contract Support
- Support preparation of partnership documents and maintain contract-related records.
- Ensure partner activities comply with internal policies and relevant regulations.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Track KPIs and compile weekly/monthly business performance reports.
- Identify operational issues and propose improvements to enhance partner performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking, Economics, or related fields.
- 13 years of experience in Business Development, Partnership Management, Account Operations, or related roles
- Fintech experience is a strong plus.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Result-oriented and critical thinking mindset.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work with data and reporting tools.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in English
