ABOUT THE JOB
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements through workshops and structured interviews.
- Document business processes, KPIs, and datamart specifications to support data initiatives.
- Develop and maintain clear, user-friendly documentation using tools such as Confluence, Microsoft Office, and Lucidchart/Visio.
- Contribute to diagnostic analysis, identifying data quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with technical teams on SQL queries, data modeling, and ETL/ELT process documentation.
- Support BI development projects by validating reporting requirements and assisting in Power BI dashboards documentation.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and support the use of metadata management tools such as Microsoft Purview.
- Act as a point of contact between business and IT teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelors degree in data engineering, computer science or related fields
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-centric environments.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI), KPI frameworks, and datamart documentation.
- Hands-on experience in diagnostic analysis and facilitating stakeholder workshops.
- Proficiency with documentation and diagramming tools (Confluence, Microsoft Office, Lucidchart, Visio).
- Familiarity with SQL, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes within Agile SDLC contexts.
- Knowledge of data governance and metadata management tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview).
- Certifications are a plus: CBAP or CCBA (IIBA); Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst; Technical writing certifications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
- Fluent English communication is a plus.
