Job Description
At
Rixos Phu Quoc, great coffee is part of the guest experience from the first morning cup to the afternoon pick-me-up. We are looking for a
Barista who is service-minded, detail-oriented, and takes pride in delivering consistently good coffee with a friendly smile.
What You'll Be Doing
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in line with hotel standards.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and related equipment correctly and safely.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all beverages.
- Take guest orders accurately and deliver friendly, efficient service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and equipment at all times.
- Prepare mise en place for daily operations.
- Follow opening and closing procedures for the outlet.
- Monitor stock levels and report low supplies when required.
- Handle basic cashiering duties in accordance with outlet procedures.
- Adhere to hygiene, health & safety, and food safety standards.
- Support other outlets or banqueting operations when required.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings as scheduled.
Qualifications
- 1 year experience as a Barista in a restaurant, hotel, or resort preferred.
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation, including espresso-based drinks and brewed coffee.
- Willingness to learn hotel service standards and beverage recipes.
- Friendly, polite, and professional approach to guest service.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good understanding of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety practices.
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
