Azure Data Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data solutions on the Azure platform
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data requirements and develop solutions to meet their needs
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
• Implement data security and compliance measures to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data
• Collaborate with other engineers and data scientists to build data models and algorithms for predictive analytics and machine learning
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data solutions to ensure they meet the required SLAs
• Document the design, implementation, and maintenance of data solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 6-8 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform
• Strong experience with Azure data services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL Database
• Experience with data modeling, ETL, and data warehousing
• Experience with data security and compliance measures
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and SQL
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
