• Design and build end-to-end automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) following Page Object Model or similar maintainable patterns.
• Write, execute, and maintain automated test suites covering UI, API, and integration layers.
• Develop reusable libraries, fixtures, and utilities to accelerate test authoring across projects.
• Implement data-driven, parallel, and cross-browser testing across Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit.

• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Set up and maintain test environments, test data, and stable test execution at scale.
• Drive flaky-test reduction, execution-time optimization, and meaningful test coverage metrics.
• Analyze test failures and work with development teams to identify and resolve quality issues.

• Work closely with Developers, BAs, and POs throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Review user stories and acceptance criteria; design test strategies and risk-based test plans.
• Mentor manual QEs and junior engineers.
• Contribute to automation best practices, internal standards, and QA playbooks.
• Communicate test results, quality risks, and release readiness clearly to technical and client stakeholders.

• 2–5+ years of experience in test automation, including at least 1–2 years of hands-on Playwright experience in production projects.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript or JavaScript with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and reviewable code.
• Solid understanding of testing fundamentals, including test design, equivalence partitioning, boundary analysis, and risk-based testing.
• Experience with API testing using Playwright APIRequestContext, Postman, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD and at least one platform: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Git workflows, code reviews, and branching strategies.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum practices.
• English communication: able to read technical documentation, write clear test reports, and participate in client meetings at an intermediate–upper-intermediate level.

• Experience migrating test suites from Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe to Playwright.
• Exposure to performance testing using k6, JMeter, or Playwright traces.
• Experience with mobile or responsive web testing.
• Familiarity with BDD tools such as Cucumber or Playwright BDD.
• Experience with AI-assisted test generation or QA copilots, such as Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or specialized QA AI tools.
• Basic knowledge of security testing (OWASP Top 10) or accessibility testing (axe, WAVE).
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
