Automation Test Engineer – Junior to LeaderJob Description

• Analyze manual test cases and identify opportunities for automation.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Playwright, Selenium, UI Path, or similar tools.
• Analyze test results, report defects, and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with Developers, QA, BA, PM, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve automation frameworks and test processes.
• For Senior/Leader level: plan and estimate testing activities, review test scripts/results, mentor team members, and lead the automation test team.

Requirements

• Experience in automation testing / software testing.
• Knowledge of Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or similar programming languages.
• Experience with JUnit, JUnit5, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
• Experience with JIRA, Redmine, or similar tools.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile.
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar is a plus.
• Experience with API testing, Docker/VM, Performance/Security Testing is a plus.
• Good logical thinking, self-learning, and proactive attitude.
• English: Good reading and writing skills.

Preferred

• Experience in Web / Desktop / Factory / IoT testing.
• Experience with Playwright / Selenium / UI Path.
• ISTQB certification.
• Japanese communication skills.
• Experience in leading or mentoring an automation test team.

Level

Open for candidates from Junior to Leader. Level will be determined based on technical skills, experience, and leadership capability.
