Job Description
ANHISA is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Associate to join our professional legal team. In this role, you will engage deeply with international markets (with over 90% foreign clientele), providing high-level advisory services and contributing to the firm's strategic growth.
We are seeking Vietnamese talent to join our HCMC team in the position of Associate, with the following criteria:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Provide comprehensive legal advice and practical solutions across core practice areas, including Maritime Law, Dispute Resolution & Arbitration (ADR), Corporate, Commerce, and Aviation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including legal opinions, contracts, proposals, advice memos, and transactional or dispute-related filings.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and case analysis to support advisory work and dispute proceedings.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and discussions with clients, counterparties, and relevant authorities/institutions as assigned by Partners or Senior Associates.
• Assist in case file management, client coordination, and procedural document preparation.
• Supervise and guide junior team members (trainees/interns) where required to ensure work quality and deadlines are met.
• Participate in firm-building initiatives, knowledge-sharing sessions, and internal process enhancements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Partners or Senior Associates.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in law from a recognized university; Master's degree or Lawyer Practicing Certificate is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the legal field, preferably within international law firms or reputable local commercial law practices.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical thinking, and research skills.
• Professional English proficiency (both written and verbal; working knowledge of dispute/commercial terminology is essential).
• Ability to work independently with high initiative, while collaborating seamlessly in a team environment.
• High attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a clear interest in long-term professional development at the firm.
