Assistant Store Development Manager | Property & Retail Expansion

We are looking for an Assistant Store Development Manager to support Watsons Vietnam's store expansion, with a strong focus on Property & Leasing (50%), Project Management (30%), and Construction (20%).

This role will manage the store development journey from site sourcing, commercial negotiation and lease conclusion to project coordination, construction supervision and store handover.

• Source and evaluate potential retail locations for new store expansion.
• Manage site acquisition, landlord negotiation, leasing terms and lease agreements.
• Conduct site and commercial assessment, including footfall, demographics, competitors and investment analysis.
• Build strong relationships with landlords, developers, leasing agents and property partners.
• Coordinate end-to-end store development projects from approved site to store opening.
• Manage project timelines and collaborate with internal teams, consultants, contractors and vendors.
• Monitor construction progress, quality, safety and store handover.
  

• Around 5+ years of experience in Retail Property, Leasing, Store Development, Project Management or Commercial Real Estate.
• Strong knowledge of the Vietnam retail property and commercial real-estate market.
• Proven experience in landlord negotiation and retail site acquisition.
• Strong commercial mindset, stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Good command of English and Vietnamese.
• Experience with store development / expansion for Luxury, Premium Fashion, Beauty, Lifestyle or International Retail brands is highly preferred.
