Job Description
We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Infrastructure Development (Facility Readiness) to lead end-to-end facility and infrastructure projects across Sorting Center and Fulfillment warehouses sites nationwide. This role sits at the intersection of project management, site planning, construction oversight, and regional stakeholder collaboration.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on managing complex, multi-site projects, is rigorous in driving standards compliance, and can translate regional requirements into practical, on-the-ground facility solutions.
- Multi-Site BTS Project Management
- Manage multiple Build-to-Suit (BTS) site projects concurrently, ensuring all milestones are delivered on time and in full across active sites.
- Develop and own comprehensive project management plans covering scope definition, scheduling, budget forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies; implement structured controls to prevent scope creep or delivery delays.
- Track project progress through regular status reporting and dashboards; provide timely updates to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Site Selection & Feasibility
- Lead end-to-end site selection processes for new Sorting Centers and Fulfillment Warehouses, evaluating candidate locations against company facility standards and operational requirements.
- Conduct thorough feasibility assessments covering geographic accessibility, structural suitability, MEP infrastructure capacity, and regulatory compliance.
- Benchmark cost and lead-time trade-offs across shortlisted options, preparing data-driven proposals and presenting clear recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and procurement teams to support due diligence, lease negotiations, and vendor contracting for selected sites.
- Partner with regional operations teams to gather, consolidate, and validate facility specification requirements, ensuring local needs are accurately captured in design and construction scopes.
- Construction Monitoring & Facility Operations
- Oversee construction and fit-out activities across new and existing facilities, conducting regular site visits to monitor quality, safety compliance, and progress against plan.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance programs for operational Sorting Centers and Fulfillment Warehouses to ensure facility uptime and regulatory compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience in property management, project management, or facility development — preferably in large-scale logistics, e-commerce, or operations environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent infrastructure or construction projects across geographically dispersed locations.
- Strong project management mindset with structured planning discipline; ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels, including regional teams and senior leadership.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical problem-solving skills; able to evaluate trade-offs and propose optimal solutions.
- Resilient and adaptable; comfortable operating in a fast-changing, high-ambiguity environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the country for site selection and facility deployments.
- Experience in MEP systems, construction quality assurance (QA), and regulatory compliance monitoring.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent design/review tools.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
- Advanced English proficiency; international working experience is an advantage.
