Currently, we are currently looking for a Transfer Pricing Assistant Manager. The job descriptions and requirements are detailed below:
Job Description
- Prepare and review transfer pricing documentation, including Local Files, Master Files, TP disclosure forms, CbCR-related documentation, benchmarking analyses, and financial analyses.
- Review intercompany agreements, transaction flows, and supporting documentation to assess transfer pricing risks and compliance issues.
- Provide practical transfer pricing advice on pricing policies, intercompany transactions, year-end adjustments, business restructuring, audit readiness, and other transfer pricing matters.
- Support transfer pricing audits, tax authority enquiries, dispute resolution matters, and APA-related projects, where applicable.
- Manage assigned transfer pricing compliance and advisory engagements from planning through execution, review, and completion, ensuring quality deliverables and timely project delivery.
- Serve as a day-to-day contact point for clients, coordinate information requests, and maintain effective client relationships.
- Participate in and, where appropriate, lead client meetings, functional interviews, and technical discussions.
- Coordinate with Forvis Mazars international network on regional and cross-border transfer pricing projects.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide coaching, technical guidance, and constructive feedback to support their professional development.
- Support the development of team capabilities through knowledge sharing, technical discussions, and on-the-job training.
- Support business development initiatives, including proposal preparation, fee quotations, and client relationship management activities.
- Contribute to internal technical updates, training materials, methodologies, tools, and templates.
- Assist managers with project monitoring, resource planning, and internal reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Tax, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing, international taxation, tax advisory, or related fields, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Solid understanding of TP principles, Vietnam TP regulations, OECD TP Guidelines, and the BEPS framework.
- Proven experience in preparing and reviewing transfer pricing documentation, benchmarking studies, and financial analyses.
- Experience in transfer pricing audits, dispute resolution, APA projects, Pillar Two, or international tax matters is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, research, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage engagements, supervise junior team members, work independently on assigned tasks, communicate professionally and effectively with clients with appropriate supervision.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and international teams
